  • pickpacker, I am.

By now, I've already fit my clothes into two huge sports bag, that Kc my beloved cousin, who apparently has no exams at all (*^%@^%*!), bought for me.

because he knows i will never take a china-sack. he even illustrated how i might react at the baggage carousel if i see my china-sack coming. HAHAHAH. okie so he was kind enough to mms me the look of a sports bag and suggested I pay a little more for a sports bag. done, i've fit almost of my clothes right away, into it!

decent looking and i'm relieved that i wont have to deal with a china-sack. yakaka

however, there's still some clothes laying around. and lots of legal documents to settle and lots of cancellation fees to pay. why do you need to pay for cancelling a service?! may i mention i'm not part of a contract neither locked in for a period to receive services. well that's how australia works. breathe air also need money. often I hear that from a londoner. haha

was discussing about teardrop-shaped earrings with reneharley. and now it makes me feel like, if dont get one i'm some idiot! well reneharley's house is filled with diamonds and sparkles. so stop telling me to buy one and borrow you. youuuuu should borrow me and ask you mommy to customize something exaggerating for your wedding. HAHA

reneharley is my soulkeeper whenever i'm in australia. she's so trendy that you cant be any faster than her. When she starts getting into a different look and catches a train with me, i'd know that vogue, bazaar, shop till you drop etc came up with a trend report. because this girl's magazine rack is filled with every possible fab mag and gossip mag that you can name. latest and hottest. and what i get most of the time is, why you buy that magazine. i got what love you borrow mine ma. but you know, she still fab going to borders and sit on the floor with me, hunting for new looks.

and then, she loves junk so much that you can't possibly imagine why. first, she doesnt look fat. and she's tall. and fair that you'd never think how much junk has tried toxicating her. ohmagawd how can i forget her coffee addiction. starbucks cold or hot doesn't matter. She's so fun that anything exciting reminds me of her. at least i know there's reneharley to join my league for spendingorgasm. laperla, gossip, facebookstalking, foodieexplore etc. again, how can i forget my regular karaoke kaki. whatever language is good for us. i said whatever.

then there's one time we go crazy about balenciaga and compulsively bought one after another. and then there's chanel-limiting. i used to have a 50m away from chanel rule. because i'd rather die than not being able to buy what i fancy in there. so the ultimate solution is don't go near it. and rene will be my spy. telling what's on display and what's at miss louise which is next door. SHE HATES MISS LOUISE so bad that she doesn't even wanna see the freaking ladys face. hahahahahaha.

then we shared hypoxi sessions together, fighting so hard to get rid of cellulites! omg i miss this so much. we had to like motivate each other and read magazines to get over a 30 minute session.

i'm so going to miss you like there's gonna be shortness of breath! you're like in opposite straits, so near yet so far! before we part, let's bloody rock britney spears in 2 weeks time! woohoo~ i love you very very much harley!!

sorry peeps, i'm so out of pics and have been stucked at home that i think i've got ingrown everywhere on my back because i'm so stucked to my bed!!! after tomorrow, it's only gonna get better and more pics and more blogpost. i'm flying home so soon that i dont think i even have enough time to digest the fact i've ended university studies! the feeling is so urghh and yayyy! malaysia-singapore-korea-europe-taiwan. woohooo! can't be any better!

i'm a happy girl. in fact, i'm not even reading. this exam is too bloody relax.

    with love,
    xoxox

  • what can i explain further about a girl's favourites?

generally, they get really addictive and sometimes they get a little too much so you can be compulsive and you exceptionally or eventually forgive yourself because you think its worth every penny. at least when you just bought it.

shoes, jewellery, bags and myself, i'll add to brooches and scarf.
i reckon if i wear something really simple and worn out, if i've got all this. nobody's gonna rule me out!
    haha

although i'm not completely good with losing my eternity ring but it definitely gave me a new reason to look on new rings. well not that i'm right to splurge just so i can find a great deal of replacement but the urge to look at new things don't come and go, they come and get stucked. moreover i don't think i can afford any of what i'm about to show you, that got me drooled.

looking at emerald cut rings. communicated this and havent seem to really tap it right in the mind yet! if you really know what i mean!

    emerald cut by harry winston.

Emerald-cut diamond, 21.16 carats; 2 shield side stones, 0.90 total carats; platinum setting.

    sparkles sparkles makes us ponder!

i need a ghostbuster for this haunting desire.

i think i did a post on the engagement rings i would love to have. and now, i''m slowly moving into that sort of shape but i want a coloured stone. ohmagawd, it only means it cost extra 1000 arms.

Well sometimes when i'm really sad or bored, I would go to Harry Winston's site and look at the amazing collections they have. and times like these, you'd wished that life's going to get better and better that one day, you could just walk in and say, "wrap that ruby piece, i'd like to have it."

    Oval Ruby Ring
Oval ruby, 5.40 carats; 2 tapered baguettes, 0.58 carats; platinum and yellow gold setting.

the luxury of beautiful coloured diamonds are so rare that rather coloured stones, do good settings too.

I like how harry winston made use of the gold claws rather than the platinum claws, becauseit directs the attention to the pink diamond and ruby, and purity of the colour.

i love this but when i tried it at jessica's i looked so dark! and my fingers looked so old!

and this looks extra stunning! it made my fingers looked really fair and it was totally outstanding.

i heart diamonds pave. where all the diamond bits surrounds the keystone.

    i like bands too.

i've got a thing for rectangle and square pave diamonds.
they look timeless yet edgy and classic.
    reminds me of grace kelly!

well to sum up, i like emerald cut, cushion cut not really a big fan of brilliant round, and diamond bands. they make ultimate statement with your dress even if it was with jeans. loved it.

okie, given that i'm seriously bored and not reading for my last paper which takes place very soon. this wednesday in fact. this is what i've been doing all day long.
to add, i've been browsing wedges and ways to tie cashmere scarfs and more ways to wear a tweed together with a dress and leggings. and more, i've been watching crminal minds all day that i'm loving it so so much. then of course i was also surfing madly on korea, places to eat (i've got to do this before terry's get really pissed about not getting to eat but shop, so that has to be done before anything!!) and where should i shop on which days and whatever. and browsing more gloves and ear muffs. and ohmagawd so many!

    see, i wasn't bloody reading!
there's so many things to do when i'm back home next friday.
apply for summer school at oxford,
    shop for bigman's bomber jacket,
    etc.
    there's too many again!

    with love,
    xoxoxox

let's hope i really graduate from uni and stay away from australia for at least half a decade because i don't wanna be here any longer!!

  • i'm feeling miserable, very miserable.

because rushing out to meet a friend and getting my gloves at the mall has cost me my eternity ring.
one side of my double eternity ring has slipped off my fingers and fell out of the tram door while the tram was about to speed off.

first i thought it was in the tram, the corners or somewhere but when i thought it might have fell off the little gaps at the tram doors, i thoroughly searched the tram for the last time. i took the next tram back on the opposite stop and tram back to where it might have fell off.

you could imagine i was madly sobbing, one hand on the phone and one hand holding my bag and scratching my hair because i was so helpless, and the best part i was in the middle of two tram tracks with high hopes hoping to find other side of the eternity ring. i searched for an hour and really couldn't accept the fact it was gone.

i couldnt believe how careless i was and how terrible things turn out. it meant so much to me and it was filled with promises and it signifies a bond, a trust and a sense of forgiveness and appreciation. it was really aching in the heart when it just slipped off and couldn't be found anymore. I have the other side of my eternity ring and it seems so incomplete without the other.

my eternity rings- twenty-three diamonds on each side. one in rose gold and the other in platinum. now that the rose gold one has slipped off my fingers, it's really pain.

i took one last search at midnight again.. and i know i can't possibly believe that it'll be there but i just wanted to do the most i could. the night should end now.

i'm really sorry love. this was really too much to excuse myself from such silly mistake.

    nights, everyone.
hope your friday night is not as awful as mine.

    love you folks.

  • marvellous. a big *phew*

today's exam was very do-able. and very satisfying. although this does not mean a high distinction (because at the very last minute i change this answer that i was so sure of, and the fact, is i've always trust my first instinct; but that one minute of consideration made me felt like, i MUST CHANGE! and there, melissa sin lost a whole great four marks!) okie there's no reason why i should still make so much fuss about it because, three down and.... ONE TO GO!

    ____________________________

melbourne cup. owhh while taking the train to and back from caufield.. i thought of how I enjoyed flemington spring race last year with Su-I and June! many were wearing the bold colours and suede pumps. oymagawd. i've been wanting a suede pumps. have i mentioned that there was this ultra-hiGGHHH suede heels in scooters. (ah.. yes, i did. checked) okie. it's too high that i don't think i'm ever going to wear it but look at it and play dress-up in my room. gahh.
    _______________________

today's post is dedicated to the favourites of melbourne- my food at home.

you can try every cereal and go arghh this flavour is so expected but you can't miss Uncle Toby's Oat Crisp Sultanas. NEVER. at least give it a try. because this is one of my supa favourite here in melbourne. and i started picking up the habit of taking oats and i love milk. and what makes the duo so tasty? it's the Oat Crisp with my So Good Soy Milk!

I drink a cup of Soy Milk every morning but at times, drinking milk with an empty stomach is so hmm.. doesn't feel like I had anything.
So i went around looking for a solution for this.
First i tried, Special K from Kelloggs.  Nice and crunchy but lack of taste other than plain corn after-taste.
Then i went on with.. okie i can't remember the name all of the sudden, it's like colourful rings. And i find myself shitting COLOURED shit. and got a shock of my life i thought i was sick! okie, being so health conscious i went for a check up and even got my housemate to check on my poo! (that's gross but she's a medicine student, she insist to look at it!) it's the bloody colouring, ohmygod does that even fit to be in a daily regime of many need-to-eat-cereal ppl?! i threw away the entire box!
then i tried crunchy (wait, i don't know even its called that but its a white box and it's also in the form of rings, with only plain brown oat colours) which is wholegrain. for a moment i kinda like it that i even eat it as my snack. then argh it got kinda tasteless after that plus it was super sweeeet. then one day, i stood at the cereal aisle for nearly half an hour. took one box and took the other and place the other back and took another... blaaa. and i was like okie i'm going to close my eyes and CHOOSE!
and i chose a Uncle Toby Oat Crisp Sultana

(at least it was not Weetbix, or i'll just run and never trust myself choosing this way ever!)
at that point, i was like okie i can still put it back now or i'll regret. OATS?! but that voice of my doctor was buzzing, he- who just did my bloodtest said i needed more oat intake as it can lower my cholesterol absortion. (I used to have a realllly high level of cholesterol!)
bugger, let's give it a try!
left it on the kitchen counter for so many days cuz you know i'm not all that curious to try an oat cereal!
but i got really hungry one day and i opened it up and surprised to see the crisp bits are hugee. it's like huge. ohh instantly, i kinda really wanna know how it taste like.
what i love about this is that, it doesnt get soggy! even when it's soaked in the milk for quite some time, it doesnt get soggy! it's crunchy and the sultana bits are so juicy with milk!

so i stick to oat crisp for the rest of the time!
and now that i'm going back for good, i decided to buy a whole box of it and ship it back home!

secondly, mentioned earlier is my everyday-must-drink soy milk! it's Sanitarium's So Good Soy Milk.

I prefer the Essential range cuz it's got soem good nutrients for women and often they're out of stock (urgh) and i'm left with my next best which is the So Good Lite.

It doesnt taste like soyabean at all okie. so please, try it. i know some ppl hates the taste of soyabean but i'm good with both. but i love soy milk because its got less fat compared to cow milk and there's this thing in soy ouch, i don't even know what is it in english. (let me google it!)
It's called Isoflavones whereby according to [Isoflavones "http://www.isoflavones.info/"]

It's good for women becasue it helps balance your hormones and for the elderly ones, it eases menopause symptoms and for men, it protects agasint prostate problems. It also improves bone health, reduce cancer risk and reduce heart disease risk.

Okie mainly, i drink soy milk because it helps balance the hormones and it taste good.

Third in line, is none other than- Bulla Gourmet Yoghurt Summer Berries with Honey Oat Crumbles

They taste like marry poppins! HAHA the oat crumbles are so crunchy and the yogurt is so thick and genuine and the juicy crushed Summer Berries with all that syrup, you jsut cannot miss it. they taste so good!
okie, if none of the above appeals to you, this one should. because its like my snack and dessert. I eat one cup of this delicious yogurt after meal everyday.

Next is, Coles' Caesar Salad 250g
the bomb. okie this reserves to the fact that I can't sit somewhere nice and enjoy caesar salad with the grilled chicken slice and those genuine croutons made from scratch by chef behind the scenes. This is strictly for the fact I need to stay in all the time to finish up assignments, to nap from the tiring trips to caufield and times like now, where exam is so making you stay at home for guilty and for reading endlessly.

so after trying a few brands and two of the big supermarket's home brand- Coles and Safeway. COLES totally took the big ass trophy for best overall ready-to-go caesar salad!
they come in 200g and 250g if im not wrong. well i choose the 250g always and I eat them everyday before my dinner. My vege intake is mad and this is just part of it. The croutons is crunchy and that butter taste is so strong that i really like the fact that it is! safeway's croutons are all soft and 'masuk angin'! and safeway's ham bits are yuck. coles have the crunchy vege whereas safeway has the fresher looking ones but too bad the sauce and the croutons and the ham bits taste yuck. i don't eat the cheese bits so, i can't really judge.

to continue this list with a taste of the god's invention on cheese.

EASY MAC. how can you not like easy mac. it's by far the best and tastiest instant macaroni and cheese. Although macaroni cheese can be way much better when it's from scratch and whatever secret recipe that i'm not interested in knwoing because i don't cook. BUT, jsut like i said at times when it's exam- i'm only free to die or  study, i'm not free to cook! so sometimes, you just feel like, it's 4PM and you can't have dinner now yet lunch was 4 hours ago. THEN WHAT?

    EASY-MAC TIME!
for me, i love the original ones. some say chicken is good. rene mentioned she loves it today when we took a stroll at safeway. i don't mind the nachos flavour sometimes. hmm. so try them! It's probably kraft's best ever product!

In the states, they've got the Bacon ones!

this list is not going to end, is it?!

yes it is. i usually cater when i have exams but this time i decided not to because my exam dates are not so close to each other and i've got quite some times to go groceries and all that i decided get stucked with frozen food, caesar salad, peaches and my yogurts. I used to cater Lite 'N' Easy during exam periods. Many thought that it's a slimming thing like a meal designed to lose weight. Well, im not that crazy about losing weight although i cna be a little chubby but in case you are interested, Lite 'N' Easy has a separate menu for catering. Reasonably, it goes by your calories intake per day. Well, for me its better to be too full than still hungry after meal so i usually cater the higher intake. It only means more food of the same menu. So maybe the lesser intake one gets one piece of rosemary lamb, you get two?!
so yah, that's what i do. and usually they to you in this box with all 7 days meals inside. So from breakfast till dinner all taken care of. Mind you, YOU NEED TO HAVE A BIG FRIDGE or it's not gonna fit. trust me. i had trouble with this that i need to put them into my neighbour's fridge!

so, since i'm not catering- i do have days that i'm so ficking lazy that i jsut wanna Microwaveeeeeeee my meal. 3 minutes ta-dah- meal is ready. okie i'm not a microwave fan because of the cancer thing but sometimes, modern innovation is so hard to resist. I use them only when i really need to. this includes when im rushing for class and i came up with a 45-seconds egg recipe. taste really good. with rosemary and mayonaise. yumzz.
oops okie, so back to that: I would stock up like 5-6 of Lean Cuisine's Lamb and Rosemary Hot Pot. After trying so many different sorts of Lean Cuisine, I warn you that you should never EVER everrrr try anything that has seafood in their pre-packed meals. It taste so bad especially the salmon bits. it feels like you're eating dead fish but cooked. okie so don't even try, no matter how bad it's trying to tell you to pick it!

The Lamb and Rosemary Hot Pot's potato mash taste soooo gummy and so soft yet sooo sticky! love it~ witht he gravy, you just feel so good to not cook when you are having a super lazy day! however the lamb bits are not very generous but yet again im not a big fan of meat, the main attraction here is the gravy and the big rolls of mash potato! ouchh~ yummmzaa!

well of course when i say it's a pre-packed meal you cannot expect it to look as tasty as this!

okie, the list has finally come to an end. unfortunately, i don't snack junk food at all (or almost all the time) maybe some chips at party or chocolate but i don't buy them when i shop for groceries and my apartment has no sign of chocolates neither chips, stik keju (*ngek*ngek*) or whatever sort. so i can't really tell you what are the good snacks around in melbourne. But you can send me message if you are interested in knowing the good places or specific dish of french food that you like and you amy want to know where serves the best. Yinyen, and a few of my other good friends have been food exploring with me during my long stay here in melbourne.

    with love,
    xoxox

this post is so long that i'm not going to spell check it. so fick it. any spelling error just don't give a bloody shit about it. love you peeeps. i'm going to sing till my lungs drop to my tummy because it's no-reading day!

it's happy day that i;m turning upside down!

"i haven't hear you for a really long time. what's good is i'm listening to you and you'll be back soon"
you rock my life. you rock!

  • when you stay home all the time because you have to, what do you do?

    other than reading the required materials and making hell lots of notes for myself to memorize;

    i practically stream every possible TVB show, watch taiwanese series like mad;

    i shop online like mad.
    especially when i jsut discovered this new site that i check their updates on new arrivals more often than my emails;

i download every possible nice chinese albums that are released in the entire 2009. by definition of nice, it by all means that the cover looks good and shouts "i can sing, click me!"! because there's so many bloody new singers that all their introduction (that's a good thing about taiwanese albums, the introduction is freaking honest and detailed) shouts i'm fucking good, pick me and download. so, that only resorts to choosing by their looks and how powerful their introduction is. some shout, i'm a xxx competition winner, and i write my own songs, and my producer is jaychou and his exclusive song wrtiter etc. that people, i click right away!
well, at least apart from studying which is important i also seriously took a start on packing some stuffs.
(this only suggest how much time i have and i'm not using it all for studies and crap!)

check out the amount of hangers that's been put aside. i've emptied my left wardrobe. ficks there's 3 quarter more. argh.

this is the wonderful mess that i've been surviving with the entire study period.
if my maid sees this, she's going to go freaking naggy and laugh.
but i seriously can't seem to take time out to do something about this. it's gonna be in boxes soon anyhow.

the shoes that have been going through so much pain and travelling and so many flights.
these comfy shoes are the ones i pack every trip to and back from australia!
i decided to throw the ones that is all on the shelf! they've been sitting there for the longest time ever.

    my to-do list.
    they're more effective this way.

    clusters and more dumps everywhere.

omg i don't know how i live through this. but it seems okie in reality but not pictures, definitely.
    so it's an illusionnnn!

anyways, so mentioned earlier i've been downloading chinese albums like mad. the entire album, like 30 over of them. however obviously i haven't get to listen all of it but by far, these are the superb ones!

the good ones that the entire album is bloody entertaining is 蔡旻佑's latest.
and of course 丁当's latest! 方炯镔's timeless is so good that i don't mind repeating it the entire day!

but my ultimate 'repeat' song is 萧敬腾- 王子的新衣 and he's got a new album out this year too.

and here's the hotpicks of my playlist. woohoo~ i can see myself going mad in karaoke! it's been too longgg!

well, the good and bad news is tomorrow's my second last exam! it's either im dead or i score!
cuz other than blogging now, i'm absolutely doing nothing! i feel like im so ready yet i feel like im missing out alot. i dont know if i read every single thing!

can you see my face is experiencing inflammation.

if you've got an instant cure for this, tell me.
i'm feeling so bothered by this.

havent been taking pix and i think ill feel so guilty if i ever did, cuz i'm supposed to be studying!

    with love,
    xoxox
